He was knocked unconscious early and arms flailing,everybody soon started wearing arm restraints after that or our guy used NASCAR window nets as well.

Racing this year again, in a gintta G50 GT4 in the SMRC sports and saloons at knockhill. Will maybe do some endurance stuff so if there are any other drivers who fancy a particular race let me know.

i have to say i love the Ginettas, good luck........do you rent or is it yours?

Its mine. My second one, upgraded to a GT4 at the end of last year. The reason I had to sell the CSL, but well worth it. Such an experience to drive.

so what sort of pace does it do Donny and what year was it made (ie 1990 or 2000)?

We are doing Donny in September with CSCC (and maybe a couple of other CSLR members)

Never don donny my self, but with a reasonable driver it should do 1.13 short circuit and 1.37 Gp circuit. Not saying thats what I can do, just the car in the right hands haha.

It was built in 2008, then lived in sweden, I bought it from denmark.

Ok, well we are just about set for Spa, due to head out Thursday this week, maybe a few laps in he afternoon testing, qualification Friday, 40 minute race Saturday and Sunday in the Spa Summer Classic.

Our car has been fettled abit more since Brands Hatch, mainly a nice new set of Intrax 1K2 direct from Henk, built over the last few days to our spec, shipped overnight and fitted Friday, geo Saturday.

Apart from the final drive ratio (which isnt ideal for most tracks in the UK) we have now done all the major items to get her competative, any more changes are really us hunting excuses for why we dont drive as fast or well as others. :whistle:

Weather looks a bit mixed. Sun thursday and Sunday, soem rain on Friday and loads on Saturday but its changing forecast by the day.

Tracktoys are taking the car over Thursday as our support so except for mechaniucal failure or driver error we are all ready to get away from work for a few days and do Spa properly.

As a comparison to the CSL, now that will be interesting especially if we get some dry track time. Our best times are around 2m50/51s in the CSL running about 1500kg and 360bhp with Cups.

Betsy has a better oversall power to weight ratio, probably not as good a diff ratio but overall we should I think better 2m 50s. By how much we will have to wait and see. Will also report back on comparison of max speed down KEmmel and around B2 and Pouhon
