3rd in qualification out of our class

Beaten by a 993RSR and an E36M3 :banghead:

But I think we have the measure of them. Best lap times were 2m50+ and we were 2m52 and we know we can go faster, def a sub 2m50 time in Betsy!

Main thing now is getting past them and staying there.:hahaha:

Race 2 and Race 1 were close.

Race 1 we cocked up the pit stop changeover and could have pitted earlier, bth which put us back a bit.........but we caught up and passed every car except one E36M3......which we would have had with one more lap. So a scond overall and second in class out of 60 cars.

Race 2 I cocked up the rolling start so went from 2nd to 13th in two corners but by the time I came into the pits at 12 minutes due to safety car, Barry went out in 5th, which turned into 3rd as two hadn't pitted ahead of him. Unfortunately the safety car stayed out until two laps left and Barry managed t overtake the E36M3 that was ahead of him and had beaten us in Race 1 to put us first in our Modern Classics race and class, just a second or so behind a 928 that was in a totally different race, to give us second overall as well.

In our race Modern Classics I got fastest lap overall Saturday and Barry on Sunday.:beer:
