I have seen the car, let's just say, deep pockets needed...
Purely out of interest can you PM me the details as I'm struggling to see it.

I see the add for this has been updated giving a more honest interpretation of the car's condition.

Perhaps it is just me but I still think this would be a good buy at the right price.

There must be some wiggle room left.

You are not going to lose a lot on it if you can grab it a lower price

That "experienced CSL owner" was me, quite a list at the time...

Either that pricing is optimistic or I practically stole mine.

Ripped seat and what appears to be heavy steering wheel wear. Wasn't like that when I traded it in @ 52k miles in 2010. How many owners has it had now?

It seems to have no service history since you sold it

Claims one owner since. Assume you had it from new?

                  Price now £26995

Yep. Confirmed order by me in May 2003 and delivered in Aug 2003 after the 'xenon/washer delay'.

Just noticed off PH too. This has been for sale for almost 2 years! Wonder what the future is for this car

Possibly be bought as a project car or something along those lines.

May reappear as a fully stripped out track car?

Seems a shame to strip a car like that. I had the skinny on what was up with it and it was hardly unrecoverable.

cheap car. seat is easily fixable as is the paint and alloys. just paint the worn steering wheel plastic or get carbon bits from mark.

go in with £25k cash and job done.

if I had a double garage it would be no brainer. would be nice next to the GT3.

are people saying its got sth wrong engine wise?
