Ooooft, this took some catching up there. Not having internet in my new home is proving a nightmare, but now I am back at sea, it should be ok to keep up-to-date with proceedings, lol
Done on a closed test session and driven by a professional driver who knows the Ring very well i would imagine.
A full lap adds around 20 seconds or so to the equivalent BTG time due to the extra bit of straight. That in theory would make the official CSL time of 7:50 a 7:30 BTG (approx). A few of us 'non-professional' drivers on here manage (albeit with better non-standard brakes) around the 8 minute BTG lap mark so i don't understand how you seem so surprised at that full lap time of 7:50 using a professional driver - it's only 30 seconds faster after all, over a distance of 22.8km.
I was suprised as I knew barely any of the above information barring the time, also didn't know it was a full lap as you all quote BTG :blalalala:
Never the less, I'd like another go at it one day soon, just need some more cups now! :hahaha:
Serious question then following on from Justin really, I'm sure is was T$ that said a standard CSL is quoted at 7:50 around the Ring, I ask, how the fook!?

Blimey, what a thread! Sounds like you all had fun one way or another!

So Marcus, since you're a very lucky chap who has both, an M3 CSL  as well as the NEW M3 GTS, how do U compare the two @ the Ring ? :smt112
What are your first impressions ?
