somehow i cant like these replica csls, nor these modifications which include some OEM parts, not to mention those poser e46 m3 cars in the US. These are spoiling the reputation of the CSL. i wish there would be a rule to buy parts just specifically for the original car, because i find it shit, to see a normal e46 m3 with a csl trunk. As for this manual csl, its the same thing, spoiling the reputation, the csl has SMG and 2 colours silver and black. thats the end of it.

I have to agree on non csl vin numbers getting parts, but I think all these stock M3's modifying their cars to look like csl's further reinforces what we all know and that is the csl is a very special car and not available to all.:smt055Originally posted by Levente View Postsomehow i cant like these replica csls, nor these modifications which include some OEM parts, not to mention those poser e46 m3 cars in the US. I think you will find that it is the demand for the CSL parts for our lower
E46 M3 brethren that have kept the items in production by BMW in the first place.....:blalalala:
As long as there is a big demand for the parts, then BMW are going to keep producing them and selling them. As soon as the demand dries up, so will production.....
IMO this car is an absolute credit to the owner, the level of detail and determination (and financial commitment) should only be appreciated IMO.
