I did. And I wnet and got it from the seller up at Hexham, and he has the cleanest CSL you will ever see, anly 3000 miles!!!!! Stunning! Simnply stunning!
Is this the one that had a small mark on it that had been out on ebay a few times but didn't make reserve. Then went on as but it now at £150ish....
I believe its the same - i bid upto £160 the second time it came up but still didnt make high enough. The 3rd time it came up the buy it now was £150 and i just thought bollox - you had your chance mate :hahaha:
Well, I just bid in the auction and got it for a nice round £100.
And it is as described, just a small mark at the front. If you didn't know it was there, you would never see it.
I went and picked it up from the seller and he has a SG CSL with 3k miles on it, and it is better than showroom condition! He will be showing it next year, and he will walk away with concours prizes!!! It is simply stunning!!!
I know this goes against the grain for most of us, not using it as it was intended, but I suppose its nice that are a few examples out there being kept in this sort of condition for the future.
I did point him in the direction of this forum so he may well appear. I hope he does as he was a genuine nice guy, and a proper petrolhead as well!
