Well the cd player has got no display but still has tunes has any 1 had this before ?

Its in bmw on monday to get a new clutch and they are going to have a look

Update the radio was f**ked new 1 going in tomorrow as is a new clutch and flywheel :thumbs:

dont worry, if you need an new BMW E46 Business Radio the new from >2005 plays MP3, but carefully, only from VDO/Siemens, the other (Blaupunkt or Philips) cant play MP3

Actually that's wrong - anything made post 2003 should be able to play MP3 - then there are the ones that are IPod compatible and satelite radio capable.

And it's actually made by Alpine.


Just make sure it's a CD53 - these are the last of the lot and plays MP3 - I have one in my car and it works great.

Well i cant be any good at BJs Glendog they have taken a CD out and fitted a tape deck LOL luck it was not an 8track :hahaha::hahaha:

yes you are right. i mix it with BM54. 2003 at the end of 2003 is correct.

Blaupunkt no MP3 - 2008
2009???

Alpine yes MP3 from 2003 (end)
Philips yes MP3 from 2003 (end)

look at my EX Radio from the CSL, ist replaced on warranty in 2007 (its dokumentet in the Car documents)
