I'm sure I remember reading somewhere that you could re-instate the BMW extended warranty as long as the car still had full BMW service history and it passed an inspection at the dealer. Is this case or something similar?

Nathan posted that you can get a BMW warranty on any BMW so long as it has a full BMW service history, even if the car comes form an independant.
Is this right?
As this question comes up a lot, is it worth making the above thread a sticky?
