my battery light started to occasionally flash red at my recent croft track day. I thought it may be because it was getting a work out but now it comes on and off more frequently? any ideas ? thanks

I would think deffo an alternator fault, very common on CSLs and M3s.The battery may be at full charge now but a couple of short trips and Bobs your Uncle.:moan:

You had about 70 miles from first light so be warned and keep the AA number handy or get it changed NOW

Alternator, it will dump you. Every warning light will come on and then you have about 200 yards if your lucky. Stay off m'ways if it was me!

I still smile to myself when I think of the M56 being shut due to your failed alternator

My business partner saw you broke down on the slip road Ian, he phoned me asking the reg, as he thought he recognised it.

ha ha was quite funny looking back now. You can't breakdown for 2 minutes in peace with csl without being spotted :-)

I can just imagine the Traffic Officers getting out their Risk Assesmemts looking for what they should do.

They must have been seconds away from closing the whole of Lancashires Motorways :hahaha:
