          Blimey Jim :hahaha::hahaha::hahaha:

          They are nothing like that thankfully. But yeah I suppose a visual inspection is hard to gauge an idea of the condition. I'll have to see if anybody has one of those thingy-ma-jigs (technical term)

              Mine are nowhere near that, they just have the heatcracks in the centre of the disc, have done for 6 months+!

              And I have more grooves than that still, so going by your standards my discs have loads left on them lol

                  Considering how much groove you still have left in the disc, I'd say you were unlucky with that one

                    Probably a factor of what disc options I was using for both .

                      How low should you let rs29s go before replacing?

                        You can run rs14 down to 2mm as they dont brake up, however rs29 I think should be replaced 4-5mm as the tend to disintegrate below that.

                        However ive run both down to metal to metal :smokin:

                          Mine are low, reckon 2mm. So will let you know at weekend/early next week when changing over.

                          I didn't notice any difference in bite, hopefully discs are alright.

                            If you can see that the outside pads are down too 2mm, then you can bet that the inner pads are completely fooked :whistle:

                                Remember rs29 come with 8.5mm on each pad. Think mine have managed 5/6 days, two being wet.
