Sorry should have said by the previous owner so can't help with the turnaround although the price was £75 a wheel although seems like its gone up a bit. Definitely a good job was done though

I had mine done in March by NuLuk in Carrickfergus and they were gorgeous. WERE gorgeous until a tyre fitter damaged them fixing a puncture. Got that wheel done again though and Im very happy with them.

420GBP though and that was me dropping them off and collecting them so not cheap but their finish is supposed to last. Ive photos in a brake thread of mine somewhere...

As Baz above with NuLuk Lepsons were not the cheapest out there but I dont mind paying a premium if the standard of work reflects the price.

Wheels are off and in the process of painting
They were all washed and any tar removed

Then down to get the bead at the front pushed back so i can paint into the bead

I then filled the scratches and little stone chips then sanded with wet and dry 800grit
After that a grey scotchpad was rubbed all over the wheel into ever spoke and corner then it was time to mask the wheel inside and the tyre

Tomorrow they will get a panel wipe and a tack rag before the silver base coat is applied more pictures tomorrow

                      Stage 2 base coat

The wheels were all panel wiped ready for the base coat i used a silver
so i would not need as much sparkling glass as it is thin and would use a lot to cover any scratches

I have also done the rear of the spokes.

The next stage is the sparkling glass coat more pixs when this coat is on

                            Dear Mark,

I have obtained the paint you recommended and given it to my paint shop. they say the paint is body paint, which is not usually used on wheels as it won't bake up to 220 degrees, as is done for powder coating.

what is the process for baking the wheels when the paint is dry?

Can anyone confirm what the colour is for the csl wheel. My cars at the powder coaters ready to get stripped back. People are saying a55 or hyper silver.

The paint is a 2k not a powder coat paint

You need them painted with a Spray gun and baked in a paint oven
