From Calais to the car park at the ring our best time 2.55 .. thought that was quick .... it was the first trip and we went through all three countries with pedal permanently buried in the carpet... ! :119:

Outward Hull - Rotterdam Thu 02 Jul 2009 21:00 (gets you in friday morning, at the ring just after lunchtime)
Return Rotterdam - Hull Sun 06 Jul 2009 21:00 (gets you in monday morning but too late to start work :bigcry: )

You only need 2 night accommodation then, Fri and Sat night.

My plan is...

Newcastle to Amsterdam ferry
Leaves 5pm Friday 3rd July
Arrives 8am Saturday 4th
Drive to 'Ring - afternoon
Stay Hotel Sat night - beers and steak
'Ring Sunday 5th
Leave for ferry afternoon
Amsterdam to Newcastle ferry
Leaves 5.30pm Sunday 5th
Arrive home Mon 6th 8am - tired and skint

If any of the Scottish / Irish / Northern lads have a better plan, please chime in.
I have considered the Hull - Zeebrugge route, cheaper crossing but more miles to travel so almsot 6 an 2s. Benefit being it leave 7pm on sun.
