Yeah his was just a standard CSL with not much else done , he put priority on the rest of us in terms of getting everything sorted so ... one to watch :whistle:Originally posted by windy View PostWhat was the score with John's car Daz? Was he just using the races for testing & setup, or is he lying in wait....

hold it, his CSL is stage 3 isnt it? plus it was fully stripped inside with nothing left except one recaro seat and it had full aero package on it so by my reckoning it was fully modified class, but last in that classsss:thumbs:Originally posted by DazBlackCSL View PostYeah his was just a standard CSL with not much else done , he put priority on the rest of us in terms of getting everything sorted so ... one to watch
goeff steeles cars werent that much quicker tbh!
i reckon Curly in a full prep standard CSL wouldnt have been last modified class:whistle:

Yeah curly did well TBH , and yep JT in mod class was stripped had some running issues with it , lack of prep time etc so im sure that wont be the case come mid season or before
Im hoping to have some fun with curly and hoping Stu will be up with us, so we see some good racing in that class, and with some additions start to see a championship develop that is semi touring car fun to watch, and drive:smokin:

Indeed... that was Johns old road CSL was it not? The >400bhp but never independently demonstrated jobbie?? Well the proof is in the cooking. Stringfellows engine is standard... if I'm missing something please feel free to fill me in.Originally posted by _Nathan_ View PostA standard CSL with 400bhp
Sure it'll be miles faster once it has been properly stripped, caged and setup.
Isn't it just... no it can't be right, race entries, tyres (plus wets if it rains), race support, car hire. yadda yadda. anyway... I'm not disputing that it's mega fun but it's certainly not that cheap (sadly)Originally posted by _Nathan_ View Post£1k a race is a bargain - can that be right when a set of 4 250/640/18 slicks is £950 inc vat?
