Looks like Brands might be a possibility - I passed my ARDS today, and Thorney has confirmed my roll cage is fine. All I need now is a plumbed in fire extinguisher system and an engine cut off switch.

Daz / Curly - what did you guys fit to your cars?

Also, what wheels/tyre sizes are you both using?

Steve, congrats mate, got your message, will ring tomorrow.

We use FEV gas FX and Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 wheels or Rays RE30 in modified class. Control tyres are 235 f and 250 rear 891 hard compound Dunlops slicks available from Dunlop.

Thanks Thorney, speak to you tomorrow. Just to clarify, are you saying:

                1. ALL cars regardless of class must run Dunlop hard compound slicks,
                2. ALL cars must run 235 at the front and 250 at the rear,
                3. Modified cars can ONLY run either TD Pro Race 1.2 OR Rays RE30?

So modified class are not allowed to use any other type of tyre?

Also, what is the situation with rain tyres?

Come on Marky get down south !!

Steve - yeah all cars run dunlop slicks or cut if it rains (they support the series)

Im running TD wheels in standard class with control suspension (KW race)

Steve, modified class can run whatever wheels they want but still must run the control tyres, which you are correct in 235 front and 250 rear.

Just received the entry list, glad to see Curly and Daz are back

Also found it amusing that Curly and I are the only independent drivers, Curly in standard class me in Modified :hahaha:

And nice to see I'm the only one there who'll never have raced before, its going to be a lamb to the slaughter :banghead: :hahaha:

Looking forward to it. I've aligned the car, however these top mounts from AST mean I'm running a degree less castor than the standard CSL, not great :bigcry: Will try and get that fixed for Donnington. Pleased to say however I've got -4.5 camber on the front and -3.5 on the rear

I'll be there for testing on Friday. I've never used slicks before, this should be interesting :smt055
