Oulton Park track day - Sat 7 Aug

Tempted as i've never done oulton park before, only problem is the 400mile round trip i'll have to endur,,:banghead: I have a credit with FE which i could transfer to this.

What's this track like to drive and how does it compare with other circuits?

Ha! I scoff at your 400 mile round trip - try 330 miles each way like i will be doing! :bigcry:

Oulton is worth it though - my favourite UK track :smt055

The weather is beginning to look more favourable too!

Got back home not too long ago and still buzzing great track definately one to add to my annual list of track days.

As with s.mac I too had some educational laps with dontdobends albeit with 30 minutes left... cheers Steve for that :thumbs:

funniest part of the day, flatout not thinking where he was, braked for a chicane didnt realise where he was and came back on himself on the closed smaller track, ended up on the grass turning round to go the right direction

going into Hisslops and went back into fosters :hahaha:

Cheers John for showing me a few errors of my ways, felt like a right terwat with you in the car, was really nervous for some reason, and drove like a fookin plank. But put what you said into practice and it seemed to help. Bad habits are easy to keep when you have no guidance. So thanks:beer:

Highlight of the day for me was Piloting my mates Caterham r535 superlight, the best car I have ever driven by a long way. Cant wait to get my MK Indy on track now. :smokin:


Oh I had a great few laps with Alex in with me, some serious drift angles through cascades and most other corners too.
