2 full tanks on track and up to a tank there and back

If I come up to watch it'll now be on the bike. 15 mins down the road today for a day out and the red battery light comes on. So I nipped back home sharpish before it conked out. Alternator failing I guess, it's done about the same mileage as my previous E46 when that one failed.
