From your vid and my data it's one of two of the places you seem to have a clear advantage (without better data).

You enter Hollywood and max speed is 170kph, break to 165kph and accelerate up to 168kph approaching Old Hairpin, and take old Hairpin at 118kph.

I enter Hollywood at 171kph (prob because my Redgate corner is a bit faster but I back off a little in Hollywood), break down to 155kph, accelerate up to 178kph (10kph faster) and then break down to 117kph at Old Hairpin.

My gut feel is that you cope with all the turns and elevation changes there much more naturally, on a straighter line (less distance) and less fuss.

I'm gunna have to look at the corner names to make sense of that but it's impressive that your system shows all that! Im sold

SYs overall lap speed probably comes from as you say no fuss, brake into corner to apex then full throttle out.

            And maybe less distance

Sy, what does Harrys say that your fast lap distance was in metres?

I'll post my video later. Think I only had 1 clear lap the whole day

Here's my cleanest lap of the day. Good lines I think, but could be later on brakes and lose the passenger if I wanted to set best possible time

from my instructor who has looked at the vid's

Way too late turning into the Old Hairpin, Macleans, and Coppice .... my guess is those are (I have taken the name out) lines! The later you turn, the more steering input you have, and therefore the slower through the corner!! Basically, "Billy lines"!!! (not Billy)

Terry, can I grab a passenger lap next time out

All great in theory but I would like to see your instructor go quicker :
With all due respect I had some tuition once and went 2seconds faster than the instructor! Great for teaching you the basics but don't waste too much money with them :banghead:

Not sure just gives the length of the track and average speed

i do agree with Old Hairpin Steve, i think i can certainly turn in earlier there and carry more speed without being later on the power on the exit.

                                Not so with Mcleans

Im still generally a bit slow round Coppice but Sy is a tad faster round there. Key to Coppice is getting power down without loosing momentum to make most out of the Dunlop straight (my top speed was 6kph higher than Sy even though he went round Coppice quicker) :-D

I have to agree with Sy, i dont think youll see much better than 1m18s in a CSL round Donny without slicks or downforce
