Good shout  I've done that trip few years ago in my Porker on the High Speed Day crossing  and it's a much better/quicker/closer run down to the Ring, avoiding the Bruxells Ring Road :banghead: and the overall dullness of the E40 :smt015Originally posted by monkeycsl View PostI always go Harwich to the hook by overnight ferry, for me it saves a 130 mile trip to Dover ,also it's less miles to the ring from Holland about 80 miles so all in its around 340 mile saving on my low mileage warped and heated garage queen.

Might be a good alternative for some of the East Anglia CSLs. What's the cost mate ?

Yes i can do thursday night, only because the mrs already has my balls:blalalala:you cant take them twice:blalalala:Originally posted by monkeycsl View PostThink crossing for two with car is about £300 with nice cabin both ways.the high speed cat is now in Ireland too costly apparently but the overnight ferry is great and can travel Thursday night Friday morning in Holland all fresh and fed. :supz:

Yes we do Vic, but Cecil is a bit of a waste on UK Motorways with The Plod Gestapo and their petty speed pistols :finga:Originally posted by plumber vic View PostDon't we have CSL's because we like driving them?
It's OK for some who live a stone throw away from The EURO Tunnel.
I need to brake up the monotony of the M11, M25 & the E40 after 10 Years + of shlepping up & down that particular corridor.
