I'm starting of at 6 am tomorrow to do a similar trip. We are heading to Betsy coed in search of Bala lake and the Evo triangle. Can you suggest any other great drives ? And a good place to lunch ?

Shimmy, several pics are next to a cemetery! As for the route it was a shade under 350 miles with mileage to the start point on top.
It would be great to get a few more involved next year......Evo triangle to be avoided unless you're driving at legal speeds!
