Would love to do Portimao in a car, did it on a GSXr a couple of years ago and it was brilliant.
Very much looking forward to October, I'm paid up for Papenburg and happy to extend some sideways action at Assen and Spa in the wet (will try and avoid gravel traps this time, look out shimmy).
Has anyone had any thoughts on tyre/wheel support? Not sure I'll get 8 wheels into the back of the CSL!

The only exception on that is that when the weather is so bad that driving on track is too dangerous, then it is possible to cancel the day entirely.
In that case we will try and find a new date for all the entries (after all, everyone wanted to drive on the track), but if that turns out to be impossible, you will get a refund.
That's how it works with us in any case, other trackday organizers can have different rules of course.

If it's wet we can practise further what we practised in Pappenburg
And no black flags please !

If weather is shite on the day (Assen/Spa) what's the rules on TD fees
Do you pay regardless of driving conditions?
Any advice on this?

Love Mugello and Imola is not far from it, so I would really like a proper Alpine drive down and back with those TD's. Monza not so fussed for reasons stated.

i agree, great track to say you've driven but not a great track to drive. Did it in 2008, five big straights, perfect for GT2 and anything over 600bhpOriginally posted by PeterDF View PostMonza is an awesome track to enjoy the energy of the Tifosi, but please don't hate me, it is so incredibly boring to drive...
Basically, you have a slow chicane, a fast chicane (which is nice), two fast right handers (that are ok, but not especially spectacular) and the Parabolica, which has an interesting braking zone, but other than that not very spectacular either.
As far as driving thrills are concerned, skip the history of the tracks and drive either Bilster Berg or Ascari.

Hi PeteOriginally posted by PeterDF View PostI'll open a topic about some awesome events we have later this week.
Is that allowed or should I ask a moderator for permission first? And if so, whom should I ask?
BTW, I'll be in the UK on Thursday and Friday; quick dash over to Brands Hatch to visit some friends and a couple of people who we sponsor who are racing there this weekend.
Anyone from here who might be at the track by any chance?
Nice to meet you mate, MarkCSL is the best person on here to discuss the DF events etc with, not sure where I am Thursday but if local will drop by
