Silverstone TD 01 June 15
Gents
Have to bow out of Silverstone this week.
Long story short I was taking the car to Bartlett's ( for Diff replacement) very early doors on Saturday morning and had a dance with "Hartley the Hare". Despite Hartley becoming an ex-hare the Front bumper took a thumping.
Awaiting insurance assessment and repair/replacement @ Bart's.
If I can't get a credit note in the next 24 hours i'll advertise my TD booking on the forum. Sensible offers considered.

To be honest, if you recall what I said to you re the GP, now it's fully sorted to cope with a track day and the only thing that'd let it down would be me is, it just doesn't appeal to me.Originally posted by Trawler View Post:hahaha::hahaha:
You have already given in to modding the car so why not go the whole hog & join us on track at Silly.
That may change in time, in fact it probably will :hahaha:
Will be a good day at Silly, a chance to put names to faces.

I remember & understand, but curious how long you will hold out for. :finga:Originally posted by pops View PostTo be honest, if you recall what I said to you re the GP, now it's fully sorted to cope with a track day and the only thing that'd let it down would be me is, it just doesn't appeal to me.

Oddly before my encounter with the Hare I would have definitely said tyre wall contact would have resulted in considerably worse damage.Originally posted by shimmy View Postbugger......damn shame.......and a strange coincidence.

Hope all is well with the car. Sounds like you were fortunate. Bedford per chance?
