    DIY: Glove box removal

    Found this link very helpful on removal of glove box, and install.

    That is not a good DIY. Do not use this!

    You remove the vents+box as a whole.

    Removing the vents only, is the sole reason for the infamous sag.

      That’s a great resource for glove box removal! Having the right tools makes the process much smoother. I always prefer to use similar types of gloves whenever I have to do cutting-related work, and my first choice is always procurestack's tools. This combination makes it much easier for me to handle my home-based projects. Years ago, I had to pay mechanics a lot for these small, home-based tasks, but now I can do them myself.

        MParallel is correct, that guide was written by someone with poor understanding of how the glove box assembly works.
        Removing the vents as per the guide will damage the small plastic tabs that the vent assembly attached to the glove box with, although these are notoriously installed wrong from factory as well and the tabs end up being bent and you need to heat them up near melting point to rectify their position to properly hold onto the glove box tight. Once they break its game over.
