I finished my S54 swap last week; all is going pretty well, staying under 4.5k because of the new clutch and rod bearings, but it allready sounds epic.
There is one thing I am not 100% happy about.
I have kept the purge valve from the S54 but I am using the canister from the e36, which I think should work just fine. the canister is nothing more than just a filter.
After 20min drive I am getting code P0444 - Evaportative Emission System Purge Control - valve circuit open.
Before I just send money to the dealer and buy another valve, anyone can shine a light on how they did this, and if my problem might be something else?
I also removed the valve between the vacuum collector and brake booster but i'n (yet) getting any codes from that valve, what code number should i be getting from that valve?
