    95 M3 vs 96-99 M3

I curious if there is any performance difference in a 95 m3 and a 96-99 m3. i know the 95 has a 3.0 engine and the others are 3.2. i know that the 3.2 gives a bit more torque, but is there anything more? could you even tell a difference driving one or the other?

I have a 98, and I drove my friends 95. His car pulls really hard between 3-7 rpm in second. This is after he has the chip, intake, HFM the entire tuner setup. His gas paddle felt more lose and slopy than mine. Other than that, there isnt a real difference. As far as Stock cars, you wouldnt be able to tell at all. I think the stock 96+ has a better low end torque. My car now has the conforti software, intake, exhaust, and redline tranny and diff. fluid, I think I might be able to pull even with him now. The 95 has a better gain in performance with simple mods, the 96+ are harder to gain. hope this helps

well thank you for your input. The reason i am asking is because i had a 96 m3 but it got totaled when i got hit. I gonna get around 27 grand for my car and i am deciding whether to get a 96 or later car or find a 95 with low miles and do some mods.
