i think my CLUTCH STOP STOPPED MY CLUTCH

last night i was crusing around raced a RSX and then a mustang, and bout an hour later i LOST MY CLUTCH!!!!! Ever since i put my clutch stop in my car never shifted as well, possibly my own fault bc i may have left it adjusted out too far, not sure.

But anyways this sucks im am ///M less for a couple days i ordered a new sachs clutch/pressure plate/throw out bearing that should be here early this week.

Does everyone think thats what did it, because i never had clutch slip before this, everything has been fine. Could just be old and just couldnt handle the abuse...lol

Is a sachs replacement the best way to go???? I got the price of $330 and i thought that wasnt too bad for the whole package. let me know asap so i can go from here.

Possibly since your clutch pedal has a new feel with the clutch stop, you were not used to the engagement point, and you were allowing it to slip more between shifts. I noticed that if you let it slip between shifts, it won't fully grab and it will slip. Almost like it melts and gets slippery. However if you allow it to cool and then shift quickly without letting it slip it will be fine.

What is a good after market clutch to get? My clutch is also starting to slip and was thinking of getting something a little better than a OEM clutch.

You would not lose a clutch that quickly. It was probably about to go anway. It would take months, if not a year or so for a terribly adjusted clutch stop to ruin a clutch.

Make sure to correctly adjust it next time. It should not make it more difficult to engage.
