When is the best time....

to sell a car? I might have to consider selling one of our cars that we have. Either the 97 M3 Coupe or our 98 Maxima SE. I really don't want to part with the M obviously.



Is it better to wait till the spring with these type of cars or does it really make a difference in your guys experience?

In my experience Winter is the worst time to sell a car, and the best time to buy one.

It doesn't usually matter what type of car you have, most sell better/faster in the spring and usually will net you more $$$. This especially applies to convertibles and sports cars. 4-wheel drive vehicle sales aren't as cyclical for obvious reasons. Climate will also be a determining factor. Remember people are naturally more inclined to buy things in the spring with the thought of better weather and happier times on the way.
