    CD Check?! (Alpine CHA-S634)

Well I finally got up the courage to brave the cold and install my CD changer. Once I found the two wires to plug into the BlitzSafe it took no time. Maybe outside for 10 minutes. Anyway here is the problem. I bought the Alpine CHA-S634 and got the BlitzSafe adapter and the other necessary adapter. Everything plugs in perfectly but when I hit the CD button on my radio it just says "CD CHECK" and doesn't do anything. The Alpine has a switch for Ai-NET and Mini-BUS and I tried both of them. I also have the changer horizontal like it is set to be mounted on the changer. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Did the same thing for me. I wish I could remember what I did. I'm sure you've powered off and on a number of times. I may have had to disconnect/reconnect the CD changer while the head unit power was on?????? There was a certain sequence of events that I did before the head unit recognized the changer. If you experiment you will get it. Good luck.

Do you remember if it was Ai-NET or Mini-BUS? Oh yeah, when it does the CD CHECK it was partially load the first magazine cartridge. Does this mean anything?

I'll go out at lunch and check it. I think Ai-NET. Let you know within the hour.

Do you think that it would work if I unplugged the battery and reconnected it? I tried turning the radio on and off, disconnecting the cables while the changer was on and off, checking all the connections. Kinda running out of ideas here.
