Diff between euro spec and us

I know the performance difference but i am in the process of building a s50 motor and i am curious if there is anything i could do to make it more like a euro. I know the euro has headers larger hfm cams what else is there...



Anyone know if the compression is the same if it uses forged pistons....

The compression is higher on the euro, if you bulilding a n/a motor, then go 11.25:1 or so. The euro has dual vanos, hfm, cams, 6 tb, 3.5 intake, tubular headers, different cats, different muffler, larger displacement, just a bunch of stuff.

Do you know if the Euro motor makes the same torque as the US spec at similar RPMS, Or is the ultimate HP advantage purely a matter of higher RPM?
