    We have Exhaust Gas Recirculation?!?!?!

I was under the hood today and I happened to read the little sticker in there that mentions the EGR and the charcoal filter, and looked and saw it feeding into the manifold. I immediately felt as if I found a tumor that the car was born with. How much does this hurt our performance? And can I disable it somehow? I don't care about the emissions because my car is exempt since I don't put more than 3k miles a year on it.

    Thanks,

    Austin

E36 M3s dont have an external EGR valve.

The camshaft design and profile allows an internal exhaust gas recirc. to take place and does not hurt performance. No way to disable it.
