HK front kick panel speakers



Anyone know why they have 4 terminals, how are they wired, anything?



To me they look like they are DVC, and the HK amp only has two wire going to each speaker so what’s up?

they are dual voice coil... one for audio system one for built in cellular system.. i have never seen an e36 with built in cell system though....

well i don't think that is correct, to get audio out of them you have to have each coil connected to the amp.

nope.. HK drivers work with only ONE coil connected. its also the same way for the standard e36 drivers also. I have the hk driver sitting on my desk and just tested it...

nope, I had it in the car, only 2 conectors, no sound.

maybe your connecting the wrong two connectors...
