Suspension HELP ... PROBLEM!!!

Here's the problem!!! I was replacing my rear shocks lastnight and everything was going great. Replaced the right side .. done. Started getting into the left side and problem strikes. After I got the lower shock bolt out, I realized it was bent and there is no way it's going back in! Now since it's Saturday and BMW parts don't work on weekend, does anybody know if this is something I can just get at a hardware store or and auto parts store? Autozone said bring it in and we can compare but it might be BMW specific! Does anybody know?

Call and find out if your parts place at your dealer is open or not.. cause my dealers is open on saturdays till 2pm...

Called already .. they aren't!!! There's the problem ....

on another vehicle I broke a brake caliper bolt before on a Sunday (when every dealership is closed) and found some bolts as a "temporary" replacement at Pep Boys.. they have a whole set of drawers w/ all kinds of automotive bolts...



assuming you have a 2nd car... see if you can take the bolt out.. or the other bolt from the other side.. so you can take it in and make sure you get an exact fit...

Careful with suspension bolts. They are usually GRADE 8 or better . Typically not something you are going to find at a hardware store.
