    Brake Rotors?

I was looking into buying some new rotors for my M as well as pads. Just because its cheaper then buyi ng a brake set. I don't know what kind of rotors i should get Slotted Rotors or Cross Drilled Rotors, each have there ups and downs. Which one is better.

Why not stock rotors? They are fine for most applications.

Are you going to track the car at all?

no but for a couple of reasons one i think it would make the car look cooler and two a better stopping distance could save my life.

Slotted or cross-drilled rotors do look good in my opinion too. However, you will lose braking performance with these rotors compared to the standard rotors. This is due to less rotor surface area. Now that being said, you probably would never notice the difference unless you tracked your car, but I just thought you should know about this. Now if you go with a big brake kit, typically those rotors are slotted, x-drilled, or both but they are also larger rotors with multi-piston calipers and therefore you gain braking performance.

If you wanted to spend a bit more, you could get the euro floaters for up front. Theres almost no need to though, I got them because I wanted as much protection from warping as possible.

stock rotors work well. euro floaters work just as well, I currently have them.

had cross drilled Brembos - they warped. looked cool, but the stock/euros

            are better IMO

a BBK - now that would be a different story...

Many go with Axxis Ultimates or Hawk HPS pads.

Theses.... the rotor sits on pins connected to an aluminum hat.
