how fast??????

hey ladies!



just thought i'd share that i took my car to 150mph the other night for the first time, on the motorway, was doing 100mph and it was dark and quiet so i thought i'd just see.

it shot up to 150mph in no time or effort at all, and still had room to go. i just wimped out!



have you lot any stories same as this or similar 'tale's' to tell???

I hit 100 last week, to ditch someone that was following me in a huge truck.



I have no problem with going fast, I just don't want a reckless driving ticket. When I was younger, no problem. Can't do it anymore. After 100 mph, cops don't just pull you over anymore. You'll be looking at the wrong end of a standard issue pistol.

KM/Hr? That's like the speed limit isn't it?

200 KPH is close to 135 MPH, so it' higher than the speed limit around here. Maybe Canada is different? I was following a new 575 a few months ago and we were up into the 120s before I realized how fast we were going and slowed down. Amazing that the car can do this so effortlessly

157 mph.. will probably never attempt it again.. but i wanted to see what it could do.. it was so stable at high speeds too..

i had my e36 evo up to 155 ,a bit scary i must admit!

now got an e39 m5 which i also did 155 but was much smoother and les scary!

i think its the noise difference that makes the difference!!
