Heater problem

Well, I finally had to use my heater this morning, and found out that it's not working properly. I have a 95 M3 with the temp knobs. With the A/C off, and both the temp knobs turned to just past 80 degrees, the upper vents still blow cold air, while the lower (foot) vents blow hot air.



So to actually heat the car, I have to use only the lower vents. Has anyone encountered this? Possible fixes?

Did you adjust the quick temp knob thats under the center vent to the red side?

Yeah!, At first I didn't realize that though, but they kept blowing cold air. I suppose the most likely situation is that those are what aren't functioning properly.
