Tapping coming tranny tunnel when cold

I have been hearing a tapping sound from the transmission area lately, especially when it's cold. It isn't coming from the engine and only occurs when the car is in motion. It increases with speed, not RPM and is most noticable and louder off-throttle. It sounds like the old playing card in the bicycle spoke deal.

It eventually goes away but has been more prominent lately, enough to where I can hear it over the radio.

This is an Automatic tranny too. Is there anything that I should look for in particular?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Greg

this is not a very educated guess,.. but its possible its the guibo,,.. the flex disk, if you even have one on an automatic, i would imagine that if it needed to be replaced, you may hear this sound,... or maybe a drive shaft support bearings, i hope this helps,..other people may post after with a better idea,..
