AA intake and exhaust cause of o2 misreads?

My 97 M never had o2 sensor problems until about 2 weeks after i installed AA intake and AA catback. Is this just a random problem or is it common to have o2 sensors read funny with intake and exhaust?

o2 sensors should not go bad b/c of intake or catback exhaust. more than likely your o2 sensors have gone bad. but to check for sure, run a scan w/ a research tool or go to autozone to check up whats wrong.

yup, just coincidence. o2 sensors do go bad.
