Cracks in maniflod intake boot...

How bad will this cause the car to run? As posted earlier, I got my vehicle back from the auto body shop and within 200 miles, it started running like absolute crap.



I had them pick up the vehicle and their assessment was the reason it was running VERY poorly was becuase of cracks in this boot.



Please let me know what you think...thanks

Cracks in that would be the same as a vacuum leak anywhere else in the system and yes, it will cause your car to idle and run like crap.

It is possible for a hose connection to be degraded because of my accident, then come loose after 200 miles or so? Thus the culmination of the cracks and a loose hose causing my car to run even worse...thanks
