My new tranny mounts and enforcers (black Bushing) arrived today from UUC, my friend told me (today) the new tranny mounts and enforcers would add a lot of engine noise to my car. I drive this car 30,000 mile a year for business, am I going to regret installing these mounts with my new Evo 3 shifter and DSSR with stainless steel clutch line?

Nonsense.

I have the UUC red mounts w/enforcers and they're perfectly fine on my daily driver. I remember noticing a very slight increase in NVH for the first day or so after the install, but after that I was used to the small change. The only reason I noticed it was because it felt a little different, in a good way.

I installed the UUC tranny mounts in a matter of minutes. The key to eliminating ANY engine noise is not to tighten the Mounts more than 16lbs of torque. The first pass I tightened the mount too tight and I heard a little engine noise and had some tranny vibration...When I loosened them up a bit (to 16lbs), I did not hear or feel anything...It was like I didn't do anything to the car except add a little extra insurance to avoid the "money shift".
Moral...You have nothing to worry about...hope that helps.
