SO I decided to tell SoMD to shove it and took my vehicle to Blue Ridge Sport Cars in Baltimore. Things needed heater blower fan, engine check for intermittent rough idle/accleration, and suspension evaluation...after having my car one day this is what they noticed:
Suspension:
(1) Front tie rod was shot, completely overlooked by SoMD
(2) The rear shock mount? (or somewhere along the suspension path) was installed BACKWARDS, probably degrading the corresponding bushing.
**Both on the passenger/accident side
Engine:
(1) Threw an O2 sensor degrade code, indicating that the far was to rich/lean. My guess is lean. I had replaced the intake boot, but the rough riding still seemed to be onset by very slow moving/dynamic clutch engaging (i.e. moving around a gas station, and maneuving around traffic to make way for an emergency vehicle.
The weird thing is that 90% of my trip to B-more was fantastic. However, there is still a rapid, light (i,e, not thump, thump) uncomfortable knocking at idle. I'm sure these guess will figure it out, but just in case, any ideas?
That's it for now, car's almost ready for her first road trip, and may God bless these roads out here in Indy, they are PERFECT!!! Peace,
