Has anyone put NOS in an M3?

Hey i know this question has probably popped up before, but i couldnt figure out how to searh the posts? all i could do was see a list of posts which would take ages to search through!

Has anyone put NOS in a standard engine M3 (no modifications to engine), would the engine hold out? (it is a standard 3.0 euro m3). i was thinking of doing something like that but would it cause trouble in other ereas of the engine?

would be helpful if anyne could lit me know, thanks

it has been done before but isn't recommended.. if done it should be a wet system and not a serious shot.. meaning like 50 shot or something.. i have seen some setups on euros and one guy had a nice 125 shot on his.. im sure it slammed but to me its just not worth the wear that may occur after repeated use.. if u wanna make power i would just go ahead and do some real mods rather than just juice..

In euro you should get a 6 injector kit, one for each butterfly. Go for wet as Purlpe said, I have seen one 3.2 euro Z3M and it is fast ... damn it is realy fast, and you should take the speed limiter off. The guy used about 90 RWHP of NOS. The car was amazing.

i have already had it chipped so there is no limiter on top speed and it will rev up to 8200rpm, also de-cat supersprint exhaust - got the AA intake on its way as we speak - with a kit to take out the fog lights for ducts.

I just couldnt think of any other reasonable cost options for power or performance without spending thousands!

whats the difference with a wet system and what else is out there? i dont know much about it..

You can go with a Zex kit or a Nitrous Express kit...make sure you run a Wet system...do NOT run dry....and i would go no more than a 75shot maximum with a recommended 50 shot only...

since you prolly wont run a direct port setup...you're gunna have to drill right into the intake...after the MAF and before the manifold...

there are moer expensive alternatives and methods to run a higher shot...but at the point...you have concerns about engine reliability...
