All BMWs are basically 50/50. It's one of the things that they always pride themselves on.

Although there is a lot more to a car's balance then weight distribution. Location of center of mass (espcially the height) and location of mass with respect to the axles are two of the biggest things. 50/50 is a nice target, but it doesn't tell the whole story.

Keep in mind that the weight distribution figures take in to consideration a full tank of gas.. at something like 11 pounds a gallon... it is a factor.

Gas weighs around 5lbs a gallon. Water is 8lbs a gallon.

How do various mod's that increase and decrease the weight distribution impact the original intention of a 50/50 balance of the car? Between adding lighter exhaust systems, and large subs/amps in the trunk, etc, (you name it) etc, I wonder what impact this has on the car's handling capabilities. :nixweiss: Heck, what about the driver, passenger(s)? Just curious.
