    Door lock actuator?

My passenger side door lock decided to stop working with my keyless/alarm system. Wont lock or unlock with the button on the console. Still works manually with the key. Any common failures/problems that I don't know about?

My door won't open electronically or by inserting the key... Does that mean there are other problems besides the actuator? or can having a bad actuator alone make it so that you can't unlock the door by inserting the key?

If the actuator is bad, you should still be able to open the door manually with the key. Does it unlock/lock with the center lock button inside the car?

It locks with the button on the key and with the central button, but it doesn't unlock with anything, including inserting the key and turning it manually. So I'm wondering if there is something about having a bad actuator that makes you unable to unlock it manually.

Not exactly true. If the actuator is worn bad enough, it prevents the key from engaging far enough to unlock the door. I just went through it myself. To the OP, fix those things now before they get any worse.

No. Once the door panel is off, roll the window all the way back up. You can pop/wiggle it out.

It's easier if the window mechanism is out but that's more work than necessary. It'll be cramped but it's def doable. I plan on replacing mine this spring and I'll probably remove everything.
