Couple things to add....
It's a Euro Car built in Euro Land....
2mm Allens if you have a Metric Set (you should!)
It is possible but hard to remove with out removing the wheel:

Pics for above thread

Basically you have to rotate the console, then roll it with the wheel turning to the left. It's difficult but can be done.
Almost ready to get mine back in now, may remove the wheel to make it easier. (a link to wheel instructions with pics would have been nice for those that have never done it, gonna look for one now)
Edit..
Good Wheel Removal DIY: http://www.pelicanparts.com/bmw/tech...ring-Wheel.htm
Not a bad time to take some Mequires Plastic-X to the console also now to really clean it up....

brett i love the look of your gauges and wheel. question is one how much was your cluster. and two how much was your wheel. third question...will that wheel with the stereo controls control an aftermarket head unit? i have a kenwood kdc-x889 head unit now. i would love to have them gauges and that wheel for sure.
and anyone that reads this..if i do this conversion and you want my 99 m3 wheel and gauges give me an offer or something i might wanna trade for lol..

Ok, I must have been sent a '95 PNP kit with a Bad Bulb. Just took it apart for the 2nd time, moved the one end to the furthest rl/h bulb hole (like the pics) and verified with my Multimeter that I have no open to the Logo socket...all put back together and it still don't light up! Bah! Guess I'll take it apart for a third time next weekend...
