I don't know if that is true, even deep down . Regardless I love this guy's enthusiasm, I'm sure if I got some wheels I love I'd feel the same.

Thanks by the way for these. I got 'em in 4 days; that's the fastest i've ever gotten something shipped out of Cali.

            Quit blowing my CSL buzz.

UPDATE: So sears wont install my wheels because the rear tires are < 3/32nds. That means new tires before rims.

                    We've got 2 problems here...

                    1) Why would you let Sears handle your brand new wheels?

                    2) Why would you buy new wheels, only to mount some beat-to-hell tires on them?

Well, at the sears here in town, they use ALL Hunter machines. Balancing, alignment, tire installation, is ALL done by hunter machines. Also, they let me come out with the guys there and watch as they do their thing. All of their techs are ASE certified, and they cost half of that which a specialized import shop will charge.

I am big on using my tires until they are absolutely used up. And I mean, barely see tread lines anymore kind of used up. For what these tires cost, I try to get every drop of life out of them that I can. When the tread wear reaches the wear bars, obviously I take it easier on the tires because of the increased likelihood of potential failure, you get the point.

I have no effing clue, but it caused me a $hitload of headaches trying the figure out why in the world I had over 3 inches of clearance in the wheel well.

Nice. I've always liked CSL (rep)s - they work well on a bunch of different BMWs.
