whoops. Had a derrrrka moment there.


For some reason in post #20 I thought he was talking about the center console.


The door panels were the only lux pieces I planned on keeping. Everything else is done besides the shift knob and door pulls. Mesh is in, lip in on, etc.


Now if you want them, I'd be willing to trade you if you have non lux ones?

The type of crowd who pursues one of these now VS. who pursued one of these when new is a big difference. We are not wealthy businessmen looking for a luxurious sports car. We're middle-aged (well, mostly) middle income (well, mostly) mod whores looking to make it as fast we can by reverse engineering 2 years of design and engineering work done by some of the most renown engineers in the world.



But who really cares?

Just a little good natured defense of us old farts that bought the cars when new. I also hated the Lux interior and had to search to find a 5 speed sedan in Estoril without it The first dealer I shopped at had only AT's and assured me there were no manual cars to be found. I laughed at him and found my car through another dealer the next day.I had to wait a couple of weeks for her but I've never regretted getting the one I wanted.

Good move man. Make sure you do the glove box anti sag repair as well. I see it's hanging a bit low at the moment.

Don't the e-brakes have to be adjusted @ the rear hubs?

You can do it there and you can also do it via the handle in the car.
