Problem with my new ride Can't stop driving it!

Just picked up a nice little ride. It's a '97, has the AST 4100's, Vorschlag camber plates, RE strut brace & Motorsport X-brace on the bottom, Dinan tranny chip (it's an Auto ), CAI, Depo Halo lights, Aluminum radiator and electric 3 speed fan, Motorsport front rotors, and Alpine head unit. All of this and 161k, but no wrecks or repaint. It's as clean as a baby's butt. I've got a little bit I want to do, but nothing vital. Don't even ask how cheap this thing was... I've had several BMWs over the years and had moved to Jags, but with this thing, I am sooo back to bimmers. I just have one issue. I don't want to stop driving it!!

Excellent. You've manage to pick up what sounds like a very well sorted ride. Just needs a manual.

I totally agree with that last statement. But all in all, I can make the sacrifice

I'm totally happy with this thing.

I believe it. I love my ASTs, best money I've spent on the car.

A few more pics of the new ride. I'll post some more once this damn snow goes away and I really get to detail this thing.

Does anyone know who the maker is of this CAI?

I feel the same way, it got so tiring being so cynical about all the cars I was looking at! Now that I have one at home and have accepted all of her faults its like ... incredible! I feel like I'm 16 again and just want to drive around in circles!

Yeah, after being away from the BMW arena for a couple years it's time to be back. Biggest mistake I made was selling my '92 325ic M-Technic (white on white). Not a true M, but unique none the less. Shoulda kept that car and I never woulda left!

I think the saying is a smooth as a baby's butt. Generally comparing a cars cleanliness to how clean a baby butt is probably not what you were going for LOL

Congrats and welcome to the forum. Do a 5spd swap MEOW!

Amazingly clean. The pics don't even do it justice. It's insane. Interior is flawless too. I think a midget must have driven this car most of the way by standing on the floorboard. The seats and all are spectacular.

No, it literally has a little bit of poop on the bottom side. Other than that the whole package is cute as a button. Hahaha!

to be honest, there is no cure for your problem, OP, or at least none that I know of yet.
