Interesting Dinan Supercharger information you may not of known

Turns out Dinan sells an unadvertised 10psi supercharger kit. I found out today, that my kit was one of them.

    The kit consists of:

    RMS Aftercooler - Debranded

    3.12" Supercharger Pulley (3.03 is listed, but it's 3.12")

    5.5" Crank Pulley

    Upgraded Fuel Pressure Regulator

    Revised tuning

(Have not confirmed injector sizes yet)

I found out by checking Dinan's CARB certifications online. The 10PSI kit was listed... intrigued by the "intercooler" remark in the certification, I dug further. My kit originally had the after cooler, unbranded, which I sold. I called Dinan, gave them the cars original VIN number and Dan confirmed that was indeed a 10PSI with aftercooler.... he also grabbed some pulleys down and took some measurements to confirm.

I never knew Dinan had this kit until today... pretty cool.

Now I have to find the Stage I kit so I can get the correct boost level for my AA tuned ECU Running like **** with 10PSI going through it and no tune to match

Stage 1 Kit: Kit includes a Vortech V-1S supercharger with a 3.43" diameter pulley and a 5.14" diameter crankshaft pulley with a max. boost pressure of 6.5 psi., Lucas 28.8 lb./hr. injectors which replace the stock injectors, a new ECU calibration, Turbotronics 9 or 10 (air flow meter bridge circuit), inlet and discharge supercharger tubing, and an open element K&N-type air filter. The PCV system is modified with a two way valve to redirect crankcase gases during boost conditions. The supercharger kit does not utilize an air bypass valve. Stage 3 Kit: Same components and modifications as the Stage 1 Kit with the inclusion of a new increased diameter throttle body. Stage 4 Kit: Same components and modifications as the Stage 1 Kit with the inclusion of a new increased diameter throttle body, new air flow meter, and a new intake manifold (applicable to vehicles equipped with an on-board-diagnostic II (OBD II) system). Intercooled Supercharger Kit: Same components and modifications as the Stage 1 Kit with the inclusion of a new increased diameter throttle body, new air flow meter, new intake manifold (applicable to vehicles equipped with an OBD II system), new high pressure fuel regulator, and an intercooler. The supercharger uses a 3.03" diameter pulley and a 5.5" diameter crankshaft pulley with a max. boost pressure of 10 psi.

When that car gets all situated, I suddenly think I may need some suspension work again.

Why would you give AA money when you can get a REAL tune from NickG?

Didn't. Picked up the ECU cheap from BFc. Being able to align ECU's whenever I want is tits

Depends on what I want to do with this setup. I'm happy to find it's 10psi... I'm just not setup for it and pissed.

damn that is awesome and sucks at the same time...I too have never heard of dinan selling this as a kit, though it would make sense since the stuff listed is one of the most popular things to do with a dinan kit
