        Wonderful work!

You'll really start to enjoy the BMW leather scent now.

"new car smell" is bad for you. It's bad fumes are actually noxious....

New car smell is less on newer cars because of regulations limiting the chemical release of gases on new car leather and other materials....

It's better to drive a new car with windows down for your health

          jus sayin

Hehe, I'm not talking about a "new car scent." I'm talking abut how once you've cleaned your interior enough and have done a leather treatment, you'll start to notice your car smells different.

I don't know about a lot you guys but when I was a baby, my dad had a few E30's and E36's and I remember to this day BMWs had a distinct aromatic smell to them. Something that you don't forget and something that is, well to me, pleasing to my olfactory system.

Looks great. If you're interested, there's a guy on bimmerforums (Eric) who does amazing work with new leather or alcantara armrests and shift/ebrake boots. It would completely revitalize your arm rest and cost about as much as leatherique.

Thanks, but Jeff and Ben's are much nicer examples...

The "new car smell" is actually the vinyl, not the leather. I used the Prestine Clean on the vader vinyl and it did a fantastic job, but I still prefer Aerospace 303 and used that on the rest.

Josh is correct. The leatherique restores it and softens it and it the resurgence of the Leather odor is much stronger though I am still getting it from the "fairly" new wheel

Thanks! I tried getting in touch with Eric some time back, however I don't post enough on bfc and I'm below the threshold allowed to send PM's iirc..
