Thanks for all the comments guys, and yes I washed it once I got home. Don't really know what details to post, but it has 85k and I bought it from the original owner for an amazing price. Only minor things are wrong with the car such as a couple of chips in the paint and the passenger door panel is not fully clipped on. I will try to post more pics asap.

Oh my friend, come back to us in 6 months and let us know if that was really all that wrong with it Not to scare you, but you can typically plan on spending $1k within the first year of owning the M.
Best of luck to you, and the forum is your friend for repairs, tips, and venting.

Happy M'ing!
Depending on the level of maintenance the car has had done, this man speaks the truth.
I've spent about $1500 or so and I'm only into my 6th month! It's a good thing this car is worth it.
less than a month before i got the car the po actually put a good chunk of change into the car, cant remember exactly everything but yes i still have money set aside

Smart man, just remember these preventative maintennace schedules are there for a reason and I would follow them if I were you. If you are not handy with the wrench, I would learn, unless you can afford the bill. Go to sears and buy yourself one of those tool kits that have like 120-200 pieces in it and make sure its mostly metric.
I have saved myself probably $2k in labor alone in the past 2 months just on preventative work.
