A 99 (T) M3 EVO Convertible witch I have owned from new! Yes NEW, and only last month I to dropped the roof for its very first time this year after what was a very cold winter here in the UK, and you guessed it, it never came back up, it’s a fully powered roof with a full closure alarm system and has always worked with no signs struggling to close. Once converted the roof it showed no signs of struggling to open, was only until I came to close the roof I chose to start the engine and used the button to bring the roof up. Nothing happed, no strange noise and no movement what so ever! The only indication is the red warning light that flashes next to the switch in which you close the roof remains flashing indicating the roof hasn’t close correctly.

After consulting the user’s manual I managed to bring up the roof manually, now leaving it sealed closed.

I am after some advice on any possible things I could perhaps try before paying someone else just to just take a look at it.

          Many thanks in advance.

Nice pic, Dakar. That's what convertibles are made for

Where did it stop? Is it full closed, and won't open? Full open and won't close? Stuck mid-travel?

Do you have to triple post the same thing?
